Hey guys, its actually a Twilight Quartet.brbr I always keep my HP Series with me. The thing is that with them, I feel that at any second, whenever I want, I can transport into a whole new world. It sits there on my bed side table, waiting for me like a friend, welcoming me into its pages. Plus, the story line is Fabulous.brbr Meg Cabot and Sarah Dessen books are great too. They give me a closer look at a real typical or unique or even out of the ordinary teen.

first time i read Eclipse was my fav. I am years old and is looking for a good book to read.
I highly recommend Hangmans Curse by Frank Peretti. The story is easy to pick up on and the story is very chilling and intriguing. I am currently reading it and I am about pages in and it is still very mysterious and unanswered, so the mystery aspect is great as well. The book is pages, just so you know.brbrBut if you would prefer something a little less dark, I would go with the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer. The characters are all unique and likeable, and the books are all very interesting with good action. Plenty of hilarious witty dialogue as well, and that is always a plus in my book.brbrA book that I recently purchased but havent yet read is Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor. It is basically a retelling of Alice in Wonderland in Beddors point of view. Like I said, I havent read it yet, but it looks very interesting. So I would check that one out as well.

I have read the Mists of Avalon, and I absolutely loved it, and I LOVE T.A. Barron but Im at that age where some young adult books seem to easy, while some adult books seem too hard, or just plan slow in my oppion. Im looking for an adult fantasy book to read, but I want it to be fast pace, or at least a great page turner. So if anyone has any suggestion I would be greatful to have them!
Id suggest giving Holly Lisles fantasy books a tryI really love her work, and its the sort of stuff I read when I was in that weird stage between young adultadult fiction and still read as an adult. The books are definitely geared toward adults, but the characters are usually young women. Id specifically recommend her Secret Texts trilogyDiplomacy of Wolves, Vengeance of Dragons, and Courage of Falcons. I believe she also coauthored a book with Marion Zimmer Bradley, the author of the Mists of Avalon, so that might be another good place to start.

Harry Potter is brilliant. Twilight is plotless, antifeminist, shallow drivel, and teaches that stalking and emotional abuse are romantic. Id say youre not missing much there. brbrNonetheless, I can certainly understand how frustrated you must be at your mom a woman I know wont allow her son to read Harry Potter. I find that ridiculous, and hes only ten. At sixteen, she really shouldnt be controlling what you read. Youll be legally an adult in just over a year, and at this stage, telling you youre not allowed to read certain books is less her looking out for you and more her just stifling you. Id tell her you want to read them, and that you dont feel its her place to tell you that you cant.
